The past year has again seen the spotlight well and truly fall on the economy, both at home in Australia and overseas, particularly Europe of late.
Despite the ongoing discussion and debate about the bigger picture (or macro issues as the economists like to call them), we’ve had a busy year helping our many clients with what’s most important to them – being able to buy their own home or investment property and build a future for themselves and their families.
The Reserve Bank gave many mortgage holders an early Christmas present with interest rate cuts in November and December and many of Smartline’s lenders continue to offer some outstanding deals, particularly in fixed rates, which will hopefully carry through to the New Year.
I hope you and your family have a relaxing, safe and festive Christmas and New Year period, and I look forward to talking with you again in 2012. |
