This young couple got off the rental merry-go- round.
Lee Frunks and Donna Jane had been renting in and around Modbury North in South Australia for almost five years - but this year made it their New Year resolution to take the plunge and purchase their first home.
“Property prices have remained steady in Adelaide for the past six to twelve months and our parents recommended we buy into the market while we could,” said Lee. “The time just seemed right.”
Almost immediately Lee and Donna Jane, aged 25 and 26 respectively, came across a three-bedroom house in Modbury North. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, they quickly checked their finances and contacted Wendy Perry from Smartline.
“My Dad had negotiated a number of loans through Wendy so we knew she’d make the process quick and uncomplicated,” said Lee. Within two weeks the couple had approval on a loan and a brand new home to their name.
