Smartline's 50,000th customers
It was a case of 50,000th time lucky for the Yin family when they moved from Zimbabwe to Australia and contacted Smartline to help them purchase a new home.
Sally and her husband Ian, Smartline’s 50,000th customers, were keen to relocate with their children to Australia and when they visited friends in Toowoomba in Queensland they knew it was the city for them.
However, they were faced with the difficulty of knowing very little about the mortgage process in Australia and almost nothing about the local property market.
“While living in South Africa, we had visited friends in Perth and built an investment home there. But that was more than 15 years ago and we found that a lot had changed since then,” said Sally.
“So, when we were referred to Richard Jensen at Smartline by our real estate agent, we relied on him heavily for his expert knowledge. Richard presented a number of home loan options to us and was always available to provide advice when we needed it.”
They’re now living in a family home in Toowoomba along with their three children Tiffany and Matthew, 19 and Sarah, 13.
Smartline now provides home loan assistance to more than 50,000 customers Australia-wide and has settled more than $6 billion in loans since its launch in 1999.
