Aaron Basten - Personal Mortgage Adviser

With a career in finance spanning 22 years, including 13 as a mortgage adviser in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, Aaron Basten has built a reputation for being a ‘good bloke’ who will ‘look after you’ – a badge he wears proudly.

Aaron says you can’t escape your reputation in a small town with a close-knit community.

“My reputation means the world to me and I feel honoured to have had the chance to spend so many years helping locals with their lending finance needs,” Aaron says.

“Even when my clients move away from the town – to Perth, or other parts of WA – we’ve maintained contact and despite the distance I continue to help them out when they need mortgage advice.”

Aaron says the long-term relationships he has developed with clients over the years have been one of the best aspects of his career – another being the referrals he has received from his clients to their family and friends.

“It’s the most humbling vote of thanks and expression of appreciation to have your existing clients so enthusiastically refer you to their mates,” he says.

“I’m not a ‘set and forget’ broker – I maintain contact with everyone to make sure they continue to be happy with their lending solutions and to answer queries whenever they need.”

Aaron welcomes inquiries from all borrowers – from first home buyers through to experienced property investors – and offers a mobile mortgage broking service throughout the Kalgoorlie-Boulder area, including Kambalda, Coolgardie and surrounds.
