Brian Hocking - Personal Mortgage Adviser

Brian Hocking combines 23 years of experience in the lending industry with Smartline's superior software to provide clients with a professional and personalised service.

"The most satisfying aspect of the job is being able to offer a level of service not seen by banks for a long time and establishing life-long associations," he says. "In addition, having product information at our fingertips and the relationships built up with Smartline's panel lenders will offer clients maximum choice with minimum fuss."

As a keen property investor, Brian has a good understanding of the anxiety waiting for a loan to come through can create. "I have been a first-home buyer, had investment properties and built my own home, so I have great empathy with the majority of my clients," he explains. "Knowing the path they will follow is always beneficial to clients as I can advise them on what to expect."

Brian covers all areas of lending and specialises in helping self-employed borrowers and property investors arrange the best finance solutions for their needs. "The great majority of my new clients come from referrals," adds Brian. "Receiving a referral from a happy client is the best indication of the level of service I provide."

Brian provides a fully mobile mortgage broking service for home loans, commercial loans and leasing. Brian's mortgage broking business is based in Footscray, but he is fully mobile and services all areas of the Melbourne metropolitan area including but not limited to Yarraville, Maidstone, Tottenham, Flemington and Spotswood.
