I liked the fact we were not dealing with the banks directly. We couldn’t be happier with the service and advice given by Brian. Before we dealt with Smartline we naturally had two of the major banks come out to give us advice on a new loan. The first rep pushed a deal that would have cost us way more in interest. I am more than willing to recommend the services of Brian Hocking from Smartline Home Loans. Approximately two years ago, my wife and I required two loans, one to convert our existing property into an investment loan and another loan for construction of our new home. I decided to contact Brian (he had set my original home loan up some five years ago while at the Commonwealth Bank), after experiencing frustration and annoyance in dealing directly with bank employees to take out a loan on some land we wanted. We new what we wanted, however I did not want to risk getting an inexperienced Bank employee again, so we explained it all to Brian. He ran through the various options available, left the decision to us, we agreed, and then he proceeded to arrange everything. He continually kept the whole process on track and on time. Brian's personal touch and efforts were most satisfying, he even successfully pursued a refund on Mortgage Insurance previously charged. (I seriously doubt whether the bank would have alerted us to this refund). Brian is a professional, and being an ex bank employee, easily understands your requirements and knows exactly what is required to get the loan across the line. I would not hesitate to use Brian in the future for any loans that I require.
