Coral Betts’ client list has grown largely as a result of referrals from existing clients, and she enthusiastically credits this as the greatest accolade and expression of approval she could be paid. “Most of my business comes from existing, happy clients that feel very confident in referring me to their family and friends,” Coral explains. “The highlight of my day is when I receive feedback from clients that confirms I have played a significant part in helping to make their dreams come true.”

I partly credit my success with the many years of experience and industry knowledge that I have – meaning I can clearly relay complex information in plain English. That understanding is so important. Likewise, I’m available for my clients when it best suits them – both while the loan is being progressed and beyond – further reducing stress and the demands on their time.”

Coral firmly believes that time management skills, and personal qualities such as empathy and honesty are essential for a successful relationship with clients. “A personal mortgage advisor must empathise with clients to be able to truly serve them well,” she stresses. “I take such care to ensure my clients are understood and that their needs are being met. Clients demand accuracy and straightforwardness, which are both enormously helpful as they try to manage their own expectations. I think my experience, knowledge and people skills make me ideally suited to support clients traversing their way through any property purchase.”

Coral has worked in the banking industry in the United Kingdom and in Australia for 21 years, including 13 years with Mortgage Force, which merged with Smartline in July 2009. Coral also holds a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking).

Throughout her career, Coral has supported numerous first home buyers, who have continued to seek her skill and expertise to upgrade and augment their property portfolio. Coral offers a fully mobile service throughout all areas including but not limited to Dee Why, Curl Curl and Narrabeen for property investors in at all stages of life.
