In 2003 Christopher agreed to assist us with transferring our Home Loan at short notice. He managed to negotiate a very agreeable Home Loan Package with a competitive interest rate. Despite his busy workload Christopher then assisted us in 2004 consolidating our debts through re-financing of our Home Loan. On both occasions Christopher proved himself to be thoroughly professional and was not afraid to combat the major bank we were dealing with if their products or documents were not up to scratch.
Christopher’s professionalism is evident in his tailoring of products to ensure they are extremely high quality. No corners were cut and we were consulted regularly to ensure that the service and product the bank delivered were what we wanted.

As a sole parent, I knew having a mortgage would be tough. I just didn't realise how tough. I had hooked up with a brokerage firm who obviously did not have my best interests at heart, and had sold me a product which, although it appeared to meet my needs at the time, the reality was that I faced a lifetime of repayments with no hope of ever paying off the debt. Luckily I had a chat with Christopher Lowes at Smartline, who examined the mortgage I had entered into, and gave me honest and, surprisingly, unbiased advice. Christopher then found me a much better product through Bank of Melbourne which would have me owning my home well within my lifetime! Included in the refinance was a little extra for me to add finishing touches to my newly built home, such as retaining walls, concrete paving around the periphery of the building and much needed drainage improvements. So, through Christopher's assistance, not only will I save money on interest and own my home sooner, I have also been able to enhance the value of my home through the improvements I could now afford. I am more than grateful for Christopher's expertise coming to my rescue and cannot speak too highly of the level of friendly service and advice, both before, during and after the mortgage transaction was drawn down. My advice to anyone thinking about buying a home - talk to Christopher first!

With only my husband working, a bad credit rating shared by both of us, a mortgage to pay, 5 children to raise and bills too many to mention, we found ourselves sinking into debt. Christopher Lowes of Smartline Home loans came to our home and although things did not look good for us to refinance, Christopher’s support and expertise with all things financial was second to none.
Christopher made himself available to us and always kept us up to date with any progress made until he was able to find an institution willing to take us on.
The interest rate was quite high (9%), but to have all our debts paid and only a mortgage and everyday house bills to concentrate on, it was a blessing in disguise.
We stayed at 9% for one year and true to his word, after 12 months Christopher refinanced us again bringing the interest rate down to 6%.
Two years ago we were on the verge of losing everything; thanks to Christopher we are now on the verge of having it all!
