Dee van Tienen - Personal Mortgage Adviser

Having built her own investment portfolio of five properties from humble beginnings within just six years, Dee van Tienen has the personal experience and passion to empower clients to grow and protect their investments.

Dee says that her “never say die” attitude is a personal quality she values highly which also benefits her clients.

“Buying a property is often a frustrating and stressful event, and there are 101 things to do within a set timeframe,” Dee explains. “From start to finish, it’s the little things that count – and there are no short cuts. So having someone working with you who is on your side 100 per cent and is experienced, pays attention to detail and is committed to getting a result is extremely valuable.”

Dee is professional, flexible and adaptable in her approach and supports her clients with tools to help them save time. “I am quite happy to use SMS to communicate with clients if that works for them, and I’ll happily fit meeting times around their busy schedules,” Dee says. “I also supply my clients with tools, such as checklists and agendas, in advance to help save time and streamline the process wherever possible. An equally critical part of my role is to ensure my clients are making informed decisions, and to work closely with clients’ solicitors and real estate agents to keep them posted and primed as the loan progresses.”

Dee enjoys seeing others buying their first home and taking steps to acquire investment properties. “It’s a good feeling seeing people develop confidence and enthusiasm about investing in property,” she says.

“I enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients and my service doesn’t stop once a property has settled. I continue to keep clients informed of any current or future developments that may affect their investments.”

Dee operates a fully mobile broking service in all areas including but not limited to Fortitude Valley, Ferny Hills and Keperra and welcomes inquiries from anyone who is interested in acquiring a property – from first home buyers through to experienced property investors.
