Graeme accepts his Rising Star Award from 'Kenny'.

Smartline broker, Graeme Inglis, won the national Rising Star Award at the Smartline annual conference in QLD.  This award recognises the franchise owner who has best grown their business in the past year and Mr Inglis was the clear winner growing his business by over 60% during the year. 

"This award confirms that I’m on the right track and that all the hard work has been worth it. I really appreciate this recognition from the Directors of Smartline,” said Mr Inglis. 

Having started with Smartline in 2004, Mr Inglis now has an office in Pennant Hills with two support staff. He believes that the key to growing your business is specialisation, which he has focused on with Australian ex-pats and UK immigrants. Mr Inglis regularly travels to the UK to source new business, “Identifying clients in the UK who are looking to migrate to Australia has been well worth the time and money invested,” he said.

Strong referral relationships with his accountant and financial planner are also a source of business for Mr Inglis, “We support each other’s business.  It’s important not just to take referrals from your business partners, but also refer clients to them and help build their businesses.”

Mr Inglis says the challenge is now on for next year, “Continuing to grow my business over the next 12 months will be a challenge, however winning this award has given me all the motivation I need.”
