Gael Pettingill - Personal Mortgage Adviser

Gael Pettingill takes great care to keep her clients well informed about the progress of their loan and she is accessible to them for even the smallest query. “People use my services so they don’t have to worry about red tape,” Gael explains. “I’m here to ensure the process runs smoothly from start to finish – and that includes all the post-settlement concerns and issues that may arise. For me, my clients are clients for life, not just during the time of managing their loan application. I am so passionate about excellent customer service. I work hard to ensure my clients feel they can pick up the phone to me at any time.”

Gael has more than 26 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, including 15 years with Adelaide Bank and 11 years as a personal mortgage adviser. She strongly believes that industry experience is absolutely essential and regards this as one of her most prized professional assets. “There are some things you can only pick up from having spent years in the industry – and which no computer program can teach you,” she says.

“It’s that experience that enables me to expertly support all clients – from first home buyers, who are generally trying to come to grips with the whole process, through to full-time property investors and developers, who need you to add value to their existing pool of knowledge and experience. I take great pride in the expertise that I bring to the table for clients. It’s this pool of knowledge that allows me to help clients through even the toughest times in order to realise their dreams – which is enormously satisfying. What’s more, I really enjoy a challenge and love taking the time to solve problems that, sadly, others may have regarded as a waste of time.”

In addition to all of these attributes, Gael also regards the ability to listen as a critical factor in successfully arranging loans for clients. “It’s only by listening carefully to clients’ needs that you can provide them with the loan that is most suited to their unique requirements,” she says. “Importantly, too, clients need to understand why I make the recommendations I do, so they feel comfortable with all aspects of the lender and loan facility.”

Gael's mortgage broking business is based in Norwood. She is fully mobile and services all areas of the Adelaide metropolitan area including but not limited to Norwood, Kensington and Hackney and can visit you outside of working hours in the comfort of your own home. She can look after all your financing needs including personal loans, leasing and commercial and business financing.
