It's been a long time since my partner and I have had to go through a loan process. John Stitt was great, and he walked us through the process of sorting out which loan was most suitable for us. Where my current bank wanted us to jump through hoops and provide certified information on assets. I was not keen on having to spend other additional money to get my antiques and cars etc valued as was specified by my current bank. What made it worse was the my bank originally said "no" to our proposal of obtaining a bridging loan through them - even though I was prepared to give them my existing home as security!! Go figure. It was all too difficult for the them - anything outside the square or too hard they didn't want to know!! I think they only want clients that don't give them any headaches and want ones that fit their own criteria, what about good old fashioned customer service!!! At the end of the day - John helped us get what we wanted with a minimum of fuss (I won't pretend the process was all stress free - but you have to have someone you can use as a buffer and speak in plain english. John Stitt did that - and I we have NO hesitation in giving him a reference. Thanks John and Smartline.
