Katharine Smoother - Personal Mortgage Adviser

Katharine Smoother is a highly professional, responsive and solutions-focussed mortgage adviser with a passion for excellent customer service and a keen eye for detail.

When it comes to ensuring her clients receive the care and attention they need and deserve, Katharine is quick to highlight her listening skills and tailored service as critical factors in her success with clients. “It’s vital to take the time to investigate clients’ needs and wants and really listen to their answers,” Katharine explains.

“I also maintain up-to-the-minute knowledge of new products and product changes. So, armed with the right information, I can then tailor a solution with the right lender and loan product to suit the client’s unique circumstances and needs. Likewise, I keep my clients fully informed throughout the entire process and beyond so that they’re involved, knowledgeable and happy with how things are travelling.”

Katharine is approachable and friendly, and takes great pride in the personalised service she offers clients. “I’m proud of the level of service that I offer clients,” she says. “I’m committed to my work as an adviser and I regard every transaction as important. I constantly follow up applications – from start to finish – and then maintain contact with clients after settlement. I’m fortunate to have many repeat clients with whom I’ve had a relationship for many years – and they pay me the greatest compliment by referring friends and family.”

In 2007 Katharine joined Mortgage Force, which merged with Smartline in July 2009. Prior to that she spent 17 years with CBA.

Katharine is Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) accredited and has her Certificate IV in Finance. She is able to support anyone wishing to finance any and all property purchases.

Katharine's mortgage broking business is based in Bathurst. She is fully mobile and services all areas including but not limited to Windradyne, Stewart and Kelso and can visit you outside of working hours in the comfort of your own home. She can look after all your financing needs including personal loans, leasing and commercial and business financing.
