Neil Pinner - Personal Mortgage Adviser

As the co-founder of Mortgage Force (which merged with Smartline in 2009), one of Australia’s oldest and most respected mortgage broking groups, Neil Pinner is somewhat of a mortgage broking ‘pioneer’. Neil established Mortgage Force with colleague Michael Brennan in 1991, recognising the important role that the then emerging mortgage broking industry would have in helping Australians to secure a home loan. “From the outset, mortgage brokers were able to differentiate themselves by their service offering – in the early days it was a novelty to have a mortgage broker come to your home after hours when we’d all been so used to the banks’
9.30am to 4pm service mentality,” Neil said.

"Like all industries, mortgage broking and banking have changed enormously since those early days but the importance of service has not. Good brokers still recognise that providing great service to their clients is paramount. Providing outstanding client service is certainly something that I focused on as we grew the Mortgage Force group and is still my number one priority.”

Neil worked directly with clients in the early days, until the continued growth of the group meant he had to focus on the full-time Managing Director’s role. Now, with almost 40 years’ banking and mortgage broking experience behind him – Neil is again relishing the opportunity to take a more hands-on role in providing clients with smart mortgage advice as well as continuing in his role as a Director of Smartline. “For me, being a mortgage broker has always been about helping people, rather than just writing home loans.”

Helping people get ahead – whether that’s the significant achievement of buying their first house, upsizing to the house of their dreams or buying an investment property – is enormously rewarding.

“It’s very satisfying to work with people who might be building a substantial property portfolio when it was only a few years ago I was helping them to buy their first house. I now also have the pleasure of helping the children of some of the clients I assisted when I first started out in the early 1990s – it’s pretty special to be able to assist the next generation of a family to achieve
their property buying goals.”

Neil's mortgage broking business is based in Inglewood. He is fully mobile and services all areas including but not limited to Menora, Maylands and Bedford and can visit you outside of working hours in the comfort of your own home. He can look after all your financing needs including personal loans, leasing and commercial and business financing.
