Ryan Mau - Personal Mortgage Adviser

Ryan Mau understands that your time is precious, that’s why he will always return calls within five minutes of receiving your message and is always at the ready with a plan B… and C.

Ryan takes great pride in his professional service, of which punctuality is a hallmark. “Clients entrust me to manage what is a significant financial transaction that can often be fraught with stress and discomfort,” he explains. “This is why I go to great lengths to keep clients informed along the way and ensure they’re aware of all the potential outcomes that can be experienced when we submit their loan application. I always have a plan B and C ready to go – because I don’t like being told that something can’t be done. There’s always a solution.”

Ryan’s combined knowledge of the finance industry with his trades background in construction, mining and agriculture give him a unique perspective on financing a property purchase. He has tailored his business to service the needs of a wide range of borrowers – both owner-occupiers and investors. “Ultimately, it’s my role to listen to my client’s needs and recommend the most suitable deal for their needs and unique circumstances,” Ryan says. “I also take great care to ensure my clients understand the product and the reasons why I have made the recommendation.”

Ryan has almost 10 years experience as a mortgage adviser. In 2006 he joined Mortgage Force, which merged with Smartline in July 2009. Ryan has a Diploma in Mortgage Lending, which he completed in 2003, and he is a PS146 trained and accredited Financial Planner, a qualification he obtained through Tribeca. Ryan has also completed his Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking).

Ryan has also been nominated for, and is currently serving on, the Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Queensland State Council.

Ryan's mortgage broking business is based in Mackay. He is fully mobile and services all areas including but not limited to Walkerston, Sarina and Glenella and can visit you outside of working hours in the comfort of your own home. He can look after all your financing needs including personal loans, leasing and commercial and business financing.
