LOCAL MORTGAGE BROKER WINS NATIONAL AWARD

Rory Accepts Award

Local Smartline mortgage broker, Rory Sievwright, recently competed against fellow state finalists to win the national Rookie Award at the Smartline annual conference in Queensland.  Awarded to the best newcomer in their initial full 12 months of business, the Rookie Award is based on loan volumes, business development undertaken and contribution to the team.

“I’m very proud to receive such a prestigious award and it’s wonderful to be recognised within the group,” said Mr Sievwright.  

On the awards night Mr Sievwright was also the SA/WA finalist in the Marketing Champion award which recognises local marketing efforts. 

Mr Sievwright believes that his clients and business partners also share in his recent recognition.  “I wouldn’t have received this award if it hadn’t been for the support of my referral partners and existing client base.  Their continuing support is very much appreciated.”

Mr Sievwright was previously a branch manager with the ANZ for 27 years before making the decision to purchase a franchise with Smartline.  His plans for the future now involve moving into an office to accommodate his growing business.
