A short note to thank you for your assistance and efforts in the process of obtaining finance for our new home. We moved in yesterday and have begun the exercise of unpacking. Your role was integral in ensuring that the settlement occurred on Friday, and your commitment to the finalisation of the process from start to finish is commendable.

As Counsel and in a former life a solicitor who deals often with property and insolvency law I have seen ample instances of under qualified and poor management (and on occasion mismanagement) by financial advisers and mortgage brokers of the role they have played in the life of their clients, for whom it is often the case that the purchase of a home or entry into a business venture relying on their only personal wealth (their home) is the largest investment decision they will make in their lifetime. I am pleased to say that you are the antithesis of such persons, and on the contrary, a model example of how a mortgage broker should approach their role.

In any event, the best compliment is not words on a page but reference in the most valuable marketing money cannot buy i.e. word of mouth. Rest assured that if asked about the right person to see about a mortgage for their new home your name will pass my lips without hesitation.
