Tony McCoy - Personal Mortgage Adviser

The value of timely and accurate advice on property matters cannot be underestimated, according to Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisor Tony McCoy. Tony has a passion for supporting clients to achieve their property investment goals and offers his clients extensive product knowledge, and excellent organisational and time management skills.

He says that his ability to relate so well to people from all walks of life has been one of the keys to his success. “It’s so important to be able to listen to the short and long-term needs of my clients and then translate those requirements into solutions that are suitable for both their current and future needs,” Tony explains. “By identifying current and future intentions, we can pave the way for loan package solutions that are the most ideal for their unique circumstances. Also, clients quite rightly demand integrity and candour in discussions about their finances and property investment decisions, and I pride myself on these qualities – which my clients appreciate.”

Tony is also quick to highlight the time saving benefits he offers clients. “It’s incredibly important to me that my clients experience minimum stress and interruption to their routine as we work through the loan process,” he explains. “Leaving the ‘running around’ to someone else can be an enormous relief when you’re so time-poor. Importantly, too, the service and support does not stop when the loan is approved and the property has settled. I maintain contact with my clients and warmly welcome ongoing inquiries or requests for additional advice on property matters.”

Tony offers clients more than 28 years experience, including 15 years in commercial and retail lending management roles, five years working in consumer advocacy and eight years as a personal mortgage adviser.

Tony currently works with a number of expatriate clients throughout Asia, which he visits regularly, particularly Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Bali.

Tony's mortgage broking business is based in Geelong. He is fully mobile and services all areas including but not limited to Newcomb, Belmont, Newtown and Drumcondra and has a wealth of expertise in working with prolific investors and individuals with a high net worth..
