Ash Edwards – Personal Mortgage Adviser
Ash Edwards is on a mission to help all his clients achieve their financial goals and put some ‘health in their wealth’.
‘Health and wealth are closely related,’ he says. ‘Those are not my words, this is what the research has informed us. I aim to help my clients to create wealth through better borrowing habits, so they can work towards eventually owning their own home, and maybe an investment property or a few.’
Following a 21-year career in providing face-to-face health services, Ash understands the value of listening to and understanding his clients’ needs and wants; as well as the importance of providing a personalised and confidential service.
Ash’s business ethos founded on the wisdom of Warren Buffet, who once said, price is what you pay, value is what you get.
‘I focus on delivering a value proposition augmented with outstanding customer experience,’ he says. ‘I listen to understand, and conduct extensive research on my clients’ behalf to find the loan product that will align with their needs. I am very good at explaining matters to ensure my clients can make a well-informed decision, and assist them in developing “self-management” strategies to optimise the performance of their loan over the long term.’
Ash holds an Advanced Diploma of Accounting, and prior to joining Smartline, he owned a successful pharmacy business in Western Sydney, which won Pharmacy of the Year and St Marys Local Business of the Year in 2008, and was a finalist in National Pharmacy of the year in 2010. These awards are testament to Ash’s work ethic and dedicated approach to customer service, both of which he brings with him into mortgage broking.
He is also an experienced property investor, with a well-diversified portfolio that has grown substantially over the past 15 years. This professional background has given him a sound knowledge of Sydney’s property market and enables him to understand the borrowing process from the client’s perspective.
Ash specialises in assisting with home and investment loans. He is fully mobile and can cover Sydney Metro and the Central Coast.
