Offering expertise, support and responsive service, James Fowler’s top priority is to expedite the lending process for his clients and help them achieve positive outcomes.
‘When arranging a loan for my clients, I really focus on making it as easy as possible for them, by being available every step of the way, answering their questions and solving their needs as they arise,’ he says.
With great listening and communication skills, and extensive experience in consumer lending, James can relate to and understand the needs of people from all walks of life. ‘I like to begin every business relationship by finding out where my customers are at and what they’d like to achieve. From there, I can help them with advice and solutions that align with their needs.’
James commenced his career in the banking industry in 2002 and holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Credit Management). Prior to joining Smartline, he was a Lending Manager with Hunter United/ IMB Bank for 15 years. Over the years, he has developed an encyclopedic knowledge of all the current loan products and policies available on the market, and an in-depth understanding of banking credit assessment procedures.
‘This expertise, together with my analytical approach and great attention to detail, allows me to give my clients really well-informed advice and help them build a strong application,’ he says. ‘I also have good business systems in place and time management skills, so clients can rely on me to arrange their loan quickly and efficiently.’
