With 15 years’ experience in banking, lending and finance, Jessica Rix is thrilled to now bring her industry knowledge and expertise to her Smartline clients. She delivers a tailored, results-focused service aimed at helping each customer achieve their financial needs and personal goals.

As a great listener with a friendly, down to earth and understanding demeanour, Jessica’s natural energy and enthusiasm for helping people shines through. She has an unstoppable work ethic and is driven to see her clients achieve success. ‘I work tirelessly to achieve the right outcomes for my customers,’ she says. ‘No challenge is too large. Whatever your circumstances, I’ll work with you to find a solution to meet your needs.’

Jessica’s lending advice is always underpinned by honesty and integrity – as well as her high-level skillset and fantastic product knowledge. ‘When arranging a loan I always provide my clients with a wide array of potential lending options and facilities, clearly explaining the differing structures, advantages and disadvantages offered by each, so clients can make a highly informed decision,’ she says. ‘I set their finances up in a holistic manner, making it very clear and easy for my clients to understand exactly what’s involved.’

Jessica began her career in banking and finance around 15 years ago. She started out as a teller and progressed into more senior roles, including Assistant Bank Manager, before specialising in lending. ‘I worked at CBA and NAB In lending positions and as a mobile banker,’ she explains. ‘I also worked in retail banking as a residential lender, and have experience completing Trust and company loan files,’ she says. Key achievements during this time include winning the 2017 SHINE Award (placing Jessica in the top 1% of NAB bankers) and recognition for excellence in 2016.

With strong family links to the Mildura area, Jessica is dedicated to helping her local community (her grandfather was one of the first Italian migrants to settle in the region). From her Mildura base, she provides a mobile service for face-to-face meetings across the greater Sunraysia area, and is happy to assist clients via digital conferencing Australia-wide. James Rix – Customer Experience Manager

As Marketing & Sales Consultant, James works with Jessica to support our clients through the borrowing process, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and great outcomes. He also manages the office’s local and interstate marketing.

Providing essential admin assistance, James works with integrity and efficiency to ensure our clients’ needs are met. With an eye for detail and a friendly, customer-centered approach, he’s always ready to answer questions, follow things up and ensure loans are processed as smoothly as possible. ‘I pride myself on being fully transparent, honest and consistent,’ he says.

James holds tertiary qualifications in Business Studies and Marketing and has extensive experience within the sales and financial industries. Prior to joining Smartline he was director of a boutique investment company which acted as a subsidiary brokerage arm to a large ASX-listed company. He also successfully established his own investment business which expanded internationally. ‘My mission statement was ‘A new horizon in financial independence’ and seeing my customers’ achievements was my greatest highlight,’ he says. ‘I bring that same commitment and passion into my role at Smartline.’
