Where does your suburb rank?

Suburban Houses

For anyone who has wondered how their suburb ranks in terms of value against other Queensland suburbs, there is now an online tool to show just that.

Out of 948 Queensland suburbs in the new realestate.com.au ranking tool, Palm Cove has been positioned as the highest in Cairns, coming in at No.115.

It may also come as a surprise that Cairns North, Trinity Beach and Kanimbla ranked higher in terms of value change from 2000 to 2015 compared with blue-chip suburb Edge Hill.

In the northern beaches, Clifton Beach has experienced the largest price jump in the past five years, followed by Trinity Beach and Kewarra Beach.

The interactive online tool from realestate.com.au gives homeowners and potential buyers the ability to search their suburb to find out whether it has surged or dropped in median price since 2010. This year’s sales have not been included in the data.
