Kelly Carter – Personal Mortgage Adviser

Kelly is an experienced, honest and understanding personal mortgage adviser who is committed to working with her clients over the long term to help them achieve ongoing financial wellbeing.

‘Having a long-term relationship with my clients is extremely important to me,’ she says. ‘As our lives change, our goals and needs change too, therefore looking after and managing my clients for the life of their loans allows me to ensure they are on the right product to meet their financial needs and maintain financial health.’

Kelly has worked in the lending industry for over 11 years, and prior to joining Smartline was a Lending Executive at the Commonwealth Bank, where she achieved ‘Diamond Lender’ status. With a strong knowledge of the countless loan products and policies available and the ideal application for each, she is able to tailor solutions for her clients based on their unique current and future needs. Her professional experience has also given her an in-depth understanding of customers’ typical ‘pain points’ within the borrowing process and beyond, and her personalised service is targeted at ensuring her clients avoid these common challenges.

She proactively keeps her clients up to date and active within the process so they do not feel lost, and explains everything in simple terms to ensure they understand the key messages and solutions.

‘In the past, I have seen customers lost in the system, sitting on rates and products that are outdated or no longer suitable,’ she says. ‘I joined Smartline so that I could offer my clients a holistic package from the planning stage, through settlement and beyond. I’m here to help customers who may not fit the banking box or need guidance to achieve their dreams,’ she says.

‘I love seeing my customers succeed in their goals and feel honoured to be part of their journey.’

Kelly specialises in assisting with home and investment loans, and is based in Bathurst. She offers a mobile service across the surrounding areas, including Orange, Lithgow, Oberon and Blayney, and is happy to work with customers outside the region via videoconferencing.
