With 20 years’ lending experience, Paul brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his clients at Smartline. He works with a strong customer focus, aimed at delivering personalised solutions and optimising his clients’ financial wellbeing.

‘I take the time to get to know my clients to ensure I understand their short- and long-term goals,’ Paul says. ‘I can then ascertain which loans are going to align with their needs and circumstances as time goes on.’

Paul began his career as a mortgage broker in the UK in 2000, and since transferring to Australia in 2009, has worked as a lender for a range of financial instructions. He confidently guides his clients through the complexities of the lending process with a flair for detail and strong technical expertise.

‘I have excellent knowledge of the diverse range of loan products and policies that are offered on the market today, and how to structure loans to bring most benefit to my clients,’ he says. ‘In addition, I understand complex company/trust income structures, and can advise clients on business, commercial and investment lending, and SMSF lending as well as residential loans.’

Paul is based in the Melbourne CBD and Inner Eastern suburbs, and offers a mobile service covering all areas of Melbourne.

Matthew is a friendly, organised and reliable broker with over 10 years’ experience in banking and lending. Highly knowledgeable about the various products, policies and structures within the lending industry, he will make sure you get the right loan every time.

“I am passionate about fully understanding my client’s needs by discussing their underlying motivations and future goals,” says Matthew. “This allows me to provide a tailored way forward for each client with a loan solution that meets their unique needs.”

Matthew is always readily available to answer queries and ensures clients are kept up to date throughout the lending process and beyond. He also makes sure his clients completely understand the product they are choosing so they can make informed decisions.

“Customer service is very important to me,” says Matthew, “as is honesty and integrity. I’ll always follow through on what I say I will do, and would never suggest a loan that isn’t 100% in my client’s best interests. I will keep going until I find a lending solution that works best for them. Our business also has access to financial planners so we can assist people with all their financial needs.”
