Friendly and approachable, Phil prides himself on building rapport and connecting with clients on a personal level. “I enjoy getting to know my customers, the sport they play or follow, or finding out more about their occupation and what it entails.” Over the years he has built a loyal customer base that generates repeat and referral business.
Phil’s expertise is underpinned by extensive industry experience. “I have been in involved in home loans and business lending since 1989,” he says. “Prior to joining Smartline, I worked with ANZ Bank for 22 years, including 16 years in a lending environment.”
He has received a number of industry awards for client care and high achievement, both individually and as part of a team, and says the most rewarding aspect of being an adviser is being able to help clients achieve their goals of home ownership. “Nothing beats a client’s excitement when a loan application is approved.”
