Dunsborough – our unique township
Dunsborough is teeming with exciting things to see and do and its nearby regions boast a natural beauty that is second to none. Dunsborough is a popular holiday spot for people from all over the world due to its peaceful sandy coves, surrounding national parks, great shopping, and proximity to the regions wineries and attractions. Beautiful boutique homeware and fashion stores sit beside award winning cafés, bakeries and restaurants in the township, while nearby beaches on the way to Cape Naturaliste are arguably some of the most beautiful in the world.
To the traditional Aboriginal custodians, Dunsborough also lies on a culturally significant area of the South West and is considered one of the oldest continually occupied habitats in the world, with a history dating back approximately 40,000 years.
For locals, our vibrant township offers growth and opportunity. Despite our outwardly laid back charm we are a township on the move, constantly growing and moving with the times. We are also a community that cares, like a big family welcoming and supportive. Small enough to dig our heels in and band together to support each other during good times and tough times. This is a rare blend of characteristics which make for a truly wonderful and unique township.
