Gai Boyland – Client Services Manager


Gai joined the team at Smartline Dunsborough (formerly The Mortgage Gallery) in June 2015 as Personal Assistant to Franchise owner Rod Holt. Gai has in excess of 30 yrs experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining us she served with Bankwest for 17 years climbing through the ranks from Teller in Kondinin to Business Banking Manager in Margaret River.

Gai’s financial service skills combined with her branch experience gives her a solid foundation of customer service that compliments the Smartline Dunsborough Team. Gai enjoys the challenge of serving the needs of our clients and working as part of the Dunsborough team. She is an enthusiastic, valuable and committed member of the team.

Gai is a local girl, an avid West Coast Eagles supporter and a besotted Grandmother of 2.

Melanie Thompson-Smith – Client Services Manager


Melanie joined the team at Smartline in July 2017.

Mel (as she prefers to be called) has over 12 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the Smartline Dunsborough Team she worked in Banking both in Financial Planning and compliance.

Mel thoroughly enjoys assisting our Brokers, getting to know our clients, and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our clients are happy. Mel understands the importance of long term client relationships and always displays a genuine, caring and professional approach with clients.

Mel is a dedicated, passionate and valuable part of our Dunsborough Team.

Ali Holt Mortgage BrokerAli Holt – Administration


Alison Holt commenced working with Smartline (formerly The Mortgage Gallery) in August 2006 with the launch of the Margaret River franchise. Ali (as she is better known) had previously worked in Pharmacy Retail for over 20 years and hence has a wealth of customer service experience. She decided to take a new challenge into office administration when she commenced with The Mortgage Gallery. Ali looks forward to meeting customers and assist them achieve their financial goals.
