Shane Abbott’s many clients benefit from his 25 years in the finance industry and passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Shane joined Smartline (formerly The Mortgage Gallery) in 2003 having spent 16 years with Bankwest, including time as a Personal Relationship Manager where he assisted high net worth clients with their personal banking and lending needs.

“Moving to Smartline enabled me to provide that high level of customer service that I was committed to offering my clients as part of the home loan process,” Shane said.

“For me, that’s the most enjoyable part of being a mortgage broker – being able to assist people through the process to achieve their goals. It’s then very pleasing to have clients who are appreciative of my efforts to identify and negotiate the most suitable loan option for them.”

“There’s nothing else I’d rather do than be a mortgage broker – I’ll be doing this to the day I retire,” Shane said. “The home loan process has become even more challenging for borrowers in recent years and I believe a good mortgage broker now, more than ever, adds real value for clients.

“Taking the time to listen to what my clients need and find the right lending solution that works for them accordingly is paramount to my ability to achieve good outcomes for my clients.”

Married to Nicole with three daughters, Shane enjoys fishing, camping and supporting the West Coast Eagles.
