In 1996, 98.3% of Canberra’s house sales were under $400,000. Today, just 5.0% of Canberra’s house sales are below the $400,000 mark.
Interestingly, 45.1% of Canberra’s units currently sell for under $400,000. Compared to Sydney’s 10.2%, you can see Brisbane units are still looking quite affordable.
