Smartline Adviser Stuart Sutherland is well aware of the importance of a home loan in a person’s life, understanding how it can allow his clients to achieve their dreams and goals.
“I never take what I do for my clients for granted,” he said. “During my extensive career in the finance industry I have seen time and time again the excitement and emotion associated with a property purchase or a refinance.
“I gain enormous satisfaction out of not only meeting my clients’ immediate lending needs, but helping to pave the way for them to build their wealth in the future.”
Stuart’s 23 years of banking experience has given him considerable first hand knowledge of lending policies and products, together with an understanding of what lenders are looking for in a home loan application.
Rather than simply assisting with a one-off transaction, Stuart prides himself on providing a long-lasting service, with clients encouraged to contact him as their circumstances change or if they have any questions.
“It’s all about relationships,” he said. “Clients need a mortgage adviser who is accessible, dependable and knowledgeable, confident in the knowledge that they can completely trust them and the advice they give.
“A home loan should never be a ‘set and forget’ process and I’m always keen to ensure that the finance my clients have access to meets their changing needs.”
Stuart is able to assist all types of borrowers – first home buyers, those looking to refinance an existing property or purchase a new property, and those wanting to start or grow their investment property portfolio.
He can also assist with vehicle and equipment finance for self-employed clients.
Stuart offers a fully mobile mortgage advisory service throughout Sydney, with a focus on the Sutherland Shire.

Louise is our extremely competent and efficient business manager. She works alongside husband Stuart to keep our Smartline business running effectively and smoothly.
With many years’ experience in business, including some time in accounting, Louise is knowledgeable across a variety of fields including customer service, administration, system management, marketing and sponsorship. She is adept at using her many talents to benefit our clients at Smartline Sutherland Shire.
Warm, friendly and caring, Louise treats every client like a VIP.
