With almost ten years’ experience in banking and lending at a major bank, Jessi offers her clients an impressive breadth of experience and knowledge.

Various lending positions at the Bank of Queensland, culminating in assistant branch manager, means Jessi is well-versed across all aspects of lending. In her final role, she was instrumental in seeing the branch consistently win Branch of the Year.

Jessi can assist borrowers with all manner of requirements from home loans, to personal and business loans to equipment finance. Her considerable knowledge of the available lending products and options means she is well placed to assist clients in finding the right loan to suit their individual needs.

Reliable, professional and dedicated to her clients, Jessi prides herself on offering a high level of customer service. She is passionate about assisting clients through every step of the lending process, starting with budgeting and planning, all the way through to the purchase of their properties, and beyond.

Deborah Packard – Loan Writer

With skills and knowledge honed over 30 years in the lending and finance industry, Deb Packard is passionate about helping her clients achieve their property and financial goals.

‘As a mortgage adviser, I love to guide my clients through the application process, from start to finish, and be part of their journey – whether that’s purchasing their dream home, or undergoing a refinance to ensure their loan structure meets their current needs and future objectives,’ she says.

Approachable and friendly, Deb has a client-focused attitude and prides herself on great communication and delivering excellent service.

‘I’m always going that extra mile to ensure that customers are relaxed and not stressed with the whole process of purchasing/refinancing,’ she says. ‘A big part of that is being reliable, providing reassurance and maintaining regular contact,’ she says. ‘I know clients are keen to keep things moving along with their loans, so I’m always clear about timeframes and if I say I’m going to call back within 24 hours, that’s what I’ll do.

‘My clients are not just a number and I work hard to develop a long-term relationship with every client – from assisting them every step of the way with their individual lending requirements, to staying in touch after settlement of the loan to ensure it continues to perform for them as the market and their needs change.’

Trust is a big part of the equation for Deb, and she believes honesty is always the best policy. She provides realistic, clear advice on what is and isn’t possible, based on every client’s current circumstances, budgets and needs.

Deb moved to Australia from the UK in 2008 and has held a variety of roles in banking and lending, working her way up the ladder from teller, to bank manager, to business development manager. Prior to joining Smartline, she worked at the Bank of Queensland for 11 years, where she won Most Motivated and Most Valued Staff Member in 2017 and Branch of the Year over four consecutive years.

‘I have extensive lending knowledge and experience with everything from personal loans to complex deals involving Family Trusts, which makes me well placed to assist clients in finding the right kind of loan to suit their individual needs.’ Deb says she can assist her Smartline customers with personal loans (unsecured and secured), home loans for owner occupied, investment and refinancing, first home buyers, construction, commercial loans, and equipment finance.

Deb lives locally and, having worked in the areas of Narangba and North Lakes for several years, has a good knowledge of the region’s market. She is mobile across all areas of North Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, plus Woodford, Kilcoy and the surrounding areas.

Crystal Wisse – Loans Administrator

Crystal is a highly experienced administration assistant, who has worked in the finance industry assisting lenders and brokers for over 14 years.

Crystal is a key member of the team at Smartline Woodford, and is the backbone of our business. A friendly, honest and caring person, she looks after our valued clients, always going above and beyond to ensure their needs are met.

She is well-versed across all lending needs and works closely alongside our mortgage brokers to ensure every ‘i’ is dotted and every ‘t’ is crossed.

“We work together as a team in determining our client’s expectations; then we strive to exceed them,” says Crystal.
